Pundits react on Twitter to Alexis Sanchez heroics

Alexis Sanchez stole the show with a superb second-half hat-trick as Arsenal demolished West Ham United 5-1 victory at The London Stadium today.

Only Mesut Ozil’s opener separated both sides at the break, but Arsenal certainly hit top gear afterwards.

The Chilean forward added a fine second after executing a wonderful turn, before volleying a fine third goal past Darren Randolph from the edge of the box to effectively wrap up the points for the Gunners on 80 minutes.

Andy Carroll pulled one back for West Ham, but two more excellent finishes from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sanchez put the gloss on a morale-boosting win for Arsene Wenger’s side, who went down 2-0 to Southampton in midweek.

Predictably, a number of football personalities were left swooing about the 27-year-old’s talents on Twitter afterwards.
