Leeds United have been named as a potential destination for Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, by The Telegraph.
The Telegraph tip Leeds United, Hull City and Brighton as clubs who could make a move for the forward this transfer window.
Bamford is currently on loan from Chelsea at Burnley, but his spell at Turf Moor has been unsuccessful.
The Daily Mail reported this week that Chelsea are considering activating a clause in his contract to cancel his loan deal.
Former club Middlesbrough were said to be keen, with Bamford impressing on loan at the club in 2014/15, winning the Championship Player of the Year award.
Bamford has since had unsuccessful Premier League loans at Norwich City, Crystal Palace and now Burnley, and dropping down into the Championship may be preferable for him.
Hull City, listed as contenders, would offer more of the same, a role in a struggling side, and Bamford could be more tempted by the chance to join a team playing at the top of England’s second tier.
