Cork City vs Bohemians predictions for Monday night’s League of Ireland Premier Division clash. Cork City look to extend their already gigantic lead in the Irish Premier Division with a win over Bohemians. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Cork City have just 11 games remaining in their League of Ireland Premier Division season, and barring a complete catastrophe, they look set to lift the trophy at the end of the campaign. They sit 17 points clear of 2nd placed Dundalk and have two games in hand, so it’s just a case of getting over the finish line for them now.

They beat Galway United 2-1 on Friday night to make it three wins and two defeats from their last five outings in all competitions, but both of those losses came against AEK in the Europa League. In the league their record is all but perfect.

Cork City have won their last nine Irish Premier Division games and have dropped just two points all season. That’s 21 wins and one draw, and with that draw coming away from home, they can look back on a stunning run of wins at Turners Cross. They have won all 11 home games this season and haven’t failed to win since the middle of last August in the league. A win here would take them to 12 months without dropping a point at home.

This all looks quite ominous for Bohemians, who reside in an anonymous looking mid-table position and have an eight point deficit on the top three. They are six points clear of the relegation zone, but overall it’s looking like quite an uneventful season for the visitors.

Friday saw them beat Shamrock Rovers 2-1 away from home, ending a run of three straight defeats. Away from home they actually have a very good record of six wins and five defeats in the league this season, but the chances of them stopping Cork City are very slim.

Bohemians should be able to find the net though. They have scored in all but three of their away days this season and have netted ten in their last five. Cork City have conceded in six of their 11 home matches too, so backing Cork City to Win and Both Teams to Score looks an excellent choice. We’re going for that along with a 2-1 correct score predictions at 15/2.
