ARSENAL VS SEVILLA PREDICTIONS

The Emirates Cup enters into its second day of competition when Arsenal host Sevilla. We preview the match as well as giving some betting tips and making some predictions below.

It was a hectic day at the Emirates on Saturday but football fans have little time to recover as the sides step immediately back into action for the tournaments conclusion on Sunday. Hosts Arsenal look to be crowned champions of their own competition when they host Sevilla and we think combining both teams to score with an over 2.5 goals bet at 4/5 with bet365 is the way to go. For our correct score tip we think Arsenal will once again come away victorious after an exciting battle, and a 3-2 home win can be found at 18/1 with the same site.

It may only be a pre-season tournament but both of these sides will want to add the Emirates Cup to their trophy cabinet. The amount of professional pride these players must have cannot be underestimated and given that a point is awarded for every goal scored in this competition, we can bet that both clubs will be going for the throat at the earliest opportunity.

Arsenal had to fend off a spirited Benfica side in their fixture on Saturday and even though they were pretty nip and tuck for the majority of the match, the Gunners eventually pulled away from the Portuguese champions and finished as the 5-2 victors.

Sevilla also opened their account in the Emirates Cup with a win and even though the scoreline shows a tight 1-0 victory over RB Leipzig, the truth is they looked superior to the Germans throughout the contest. The Spanish outfit are much changed over the summer after their new manager saw fit to be active in the transfer market but Saturday’s performance shows that they have retained the ability to challenge any of Europe’s elite clubs.

Both teams have scored in five of Arsenal’s previous seven matches and their last five games have finished with an average of 3.6 goals scored per game. Sevilla’s last five games have finished with an average of 3.4 goals scored per game.
