Arsenal loanee Jack Wilshere starred as Bournemouth came back from 3-1 down to beat Bournemouth 4-3.
Bournemouth’s shock win did Wilshere’s parent club Arsenal a favour, in taking three points away from the Gunners’ title rivals.
Liverpool had seemed to be easing to a win before Bournemouth’s fightback, which culminated with a last minute winner.
Wilshere completed 90 minutes of the fixture, a rarity after several injury struck seasons at Arsenal.
Wilshere completed 81 per cent of his passes against Liverpool, and had one shot at goal.
Offensively Bournemouth could have done with more out of him, with Wilshere failing to create a chance, while he picked up a his second booking of the season.
Arsenal fans were largely thrilled to see him featuring for his loan side in such a big win, although there was a little regret that he was not doing it for them instead.
