Arsenal continued their superb run of form with a 3-1 victory against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners won courtesy of goals from Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi, but they suffered a blow when summer signing Shkodran Mustafi left the field with a hamstring injury that has seen him ruled out until January.
Makeshift right-back Gabriel Paulista will take his place, and the Brazilian was on the pitch to do so against Stoke, stepping into the centre with Hector Bellerin returning from an injury of his own to take his place out wide.
Gabriel arrived with plenty of fanfare last season and immediately set about making an impact at the Emirates Stadium. However, this campaign he has slipped down the pecking order and has featured only sparingly to date.
Went under the radar but Gabriel was excellent at cb after Mustafi went off.Mustafi played nearly every game so a few weeks off isn’t so bad

Gabriel is gonna come into the first eleven now for the next 5 weeks and I am not worried at all……what a time to be alive.
